Top Insurance Brokerage and Consulting Firm Volunteers in Three Local Communities
MARLTON, NJ, (June 8th, 2018) – Conner Strong & Buckelew, a leading insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm, announced today details of the company’s sixth annual Community Day event held on Friday, June 8th, 2018. More than 150 of the firm’s employees participated in the event. Community Day has grown each year in an effort to give back to the communities in which Conner Strong operates. As part of the company-wide day of service, Conner Strong & Buckelew employees volunteered with three local organizations in Camden, NJ; Toms River, NJ; and Parsippany, NJ. In five years of the event, Conner Strong & Buckelew employees have collectively volunteered nearly 6,000 hours of their time.

Conner Strong & Buckelew’s Marlton, Dover, and Philadelphia headquarters gathered employees to volunteer at the Yorkship Family School in Camden, NJ. Conner Strong & Buckelew volunteers will partner with the more than 500 students and staff to partake in a range of activities including a math workshop, solar energy demonstration, an anti-bullying speech, general landscaping, furniture building, and mural painting.
Employees volunteered at Jersey Cares at Fulfill in Toms River, where they cleaned, sorted donations, and assisted the clients with shopping along with taking inventory. Conner Strong & Buckelew also had employees from Parsippany volunteer at Headstart of Morris County, which is a transitioning housing program to help the homeless and provide them with skills to be self-reliant. Employees did landscaping, planting and weeding for their vegetable garden.
