Conner Strong Team

Robert F. Weil

Responsibilities
Robert (Bob) Weil is responsible for new business development and client relations for the Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty Divisions of Conner Strong & Buckelew. He assists prospective clients with the design and implementation of their benefits programs.

Background
Prior to relocating to New Jersey to join the organization in 1997, Weil managed the South Daytona office for a state-wide Florida insurance agency for five years. First licensed in 1983, he has acquired extensive experience in both the agency and carrier environments over the years. He has served with Bankers Life & Casualty Company as a producer of individual and group life, health, and disability products in the Central Florida region. He has also worked with Mel Himes & Associates Insurance Agency, a full-service agency in Central Florida. Before joining the Benefits team at Conner Strong & Buckelew, Weil served as an Account Manager in the Financial Services Practice, specializing in surety bonds, and as an Account Manager in the VIP Unit of our Personal Lines Division.

Community Involvement
Weil is a member of the South Jersey Health Underwriters Association and the National Association of Health Underwriters. He is on his fourth term on the Voorhees Township Zoning Board, is a trustee on the Camden County Workforce Development Board, and is a commissioner on the Camden County Library Commission. He also serves as a board trustee for the Southern NJ Development Council.

Sarah Lambert

Responsibilities
Sarah Lambert is responsible for the coordination of daily account service needs, contract reviews, coverage analysis, and the implementation and negotiation of property and casualty insurance programs for commercial lines clients from various industries such as healthcare and construction.

Background
Sarah joined Conner Strong & Buckelew in early 2015 as an Account Analyst after working for Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc. as a Commercial Insurance Account Representative. Prior to her position at Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc., Sarah she was a New Business Coordinator at JKJ Financial Services where she coordinated all underwriting for life insurance of high-net-worth clients while working directly with clients and carriers.

Alexander F. Buzbee

Responsibilities
Alex Buzbee is responsible for generating new business opportunities and designing comprehensive risk management programs for the Healthcare Practice Group with an emphasis on long-term care and behavioral health industries. He helps develop and maintain strong relationships with every client by providing industry expertise and staying involved with all aspects of the account.

Background
Alex began his career at Conner Strong & Buckelew in May 2016 as a Business Development Executive. Prior to Conner Strong & Buckelew, Alex spent three years selling commercial insurance for Federated Mutual in Boston, Massachusetts. During his time at Federated, Alex completed an extensive nine-month training program where he finished top 3 in his class. Due to his outstanding performance at Federated Mutual, Alex was awarded the Chairman’s Council accolade and the Regional Monthly Leadership Council Award twice. Prior to his career in insurance, Alex spent 5 years playing professional football in both the National Football League and the Canadian Football League.

Aaron Mitchell

Responsibilities
Aaron Mitchell is responsible for working with organizational leadership on defining goals & budgets for employee benefit programs and he reviews and presents alternative benefit funding strategies to reduce health and employee benefit expenses for clients. He is also responsible for directing a team of professionals on marketing, analysis, claim control, compliance and communication of group insurance programs and the implementation of tools and communication for employees that focus on improving their health and access to affordable care.

Background
Aaron has over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare and employee benefits industry. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, Aaron worked as an Employee Benefits Consultant and Producer for 15 years. Aaron started his career at Health Select. Over the years Health Select became many other names due to 3 different mergers throughout Aaron’s career. Health Select was acquired by Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH) who was then acquired by Willis, who sold 7 locations including his office to USI Insurance. Throughout that time, he was tasked with presenting on employee benefits in several industry specific publications and events, being knowledgeable in Alternative Benefit Designs, Ancillary Benefit Strategies, and Defined Contribution Plans.

Jordan Carter

Responsibilities
Jordan Carter specializes in designing comprehensive risk management programs for commercial clients of all types and across all industries for the National Accounts Division of Conner Strong & Buckelew.

Background
Carter began his career with Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2016 as a Production Analyst, where he supported the production of new business within the Commercial Lines Division. He reviewed clients’ insurance policies, created submissions and proposals for prospective clients, and coordinated submissions with underwriters. Prior to Conner Strong & Buckelew, Carter was drafted in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft by the Cleveland Indians. For two years, Carter was a relief pitcher for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers and Lake County Captains within the Cleveland Indians organization. Previously, Carter was a baseball instructor for Ambler Sports Academy, teaching pitching lessons for baseball players aged 8-17.

Anthony Cirillo

Responsibilities
Anthony Cirillo specializes in designing comprehensive risk management programs for commercial clients of all types and across all industries.

Background
Anthony joined Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2013 after graduating from Saint Joseph’s University where he majored in Finance/Risk Management and Insurance and played Division 1 baseball. Prior to his full-time employment, he interned for Conner Strong’s National Accounts team during the summer of 2013. After two and a half years on Conner Strong’s Account Management team, Anthony took a role as an Account Executive at Brown & Brown insurance where he became a Vice President in under 3 years. In February of 2019 Anthony rejoined the Conner Strong team where he is now working as a Business Development Executive.

Susan Panto

Responsibilities
Susan Panto is responsible for advising clients on all aspects of their employee benefits plans. As a Consultant, Susan’s role is to act as an extension of our client’s Business and Human Resource Office and provide supervision of all customer service efforts and benefit administration. She helps their group contain costs by delivering plan design/cost containment options, marketing coverage to obtain competitive proposals, and analyzing proposals for both potential savings and benefit equivalency. Susan oversees any carrier changes or additions of new plans including review of all plan documents and contracts, attending board, negotiations, and or open enrollment meetings as requested, and preparing transition materials such as benefit and cost comparisons. Susan also provides guidance to the Business Office on matters such as FMLA, COBRA, PPACA compliance, Medicare, etc.

Background
Susan has been specializing in operation, account management, and administrative procedures since 1993. Since 2008, she has been working in the employee benefits field and worked primarily with Public Sector clients. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew in September of 2017, she served as the Executive Vice President of The Lance Group Employee Benefit Specialists.

Jason Edelman

Responsibilities
Jason Edelman is responsible for the development of new strategic services and leading new business development. Jason also plays an active role in consulting with brokers and administration in NJ’s Public Sector on the latest legislation and provides solutions to best meet their needs. He is engaged in financial evaluation, health and wellness, compliance, communications, and other key client-facing areas.

Background
Prior to re-joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, Jason entered the insurance industry in 2004 as a producer with Kistler Tiffany Benefits. After realizing his deep passion for sports Jason decided to leave the industry and work for Steve Mountain, a professional Sports Agent in the Philadelphia Area. From there he managed Summit Sports Training Center where he trained an array of athletes both youth and professional. From there, Jason reentered the insurance industry with Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2011 as a HIF Associate Consultant. In 2015, Jason left Conner Strong & Buckelew to pursue a career as a Producer with The Graham Company. Soon after in 2016, he joined Alliant Insurance Services as an Assistant Vice President with a focus on Production and Business Development. In this role he managed consulting relationships for health and welfare clients and lead client teams.

Community Involvement
Jason plays an active role in his community. He coaches youth football, basketball, and flag football. He also trains athletes of all ages to help enhance their speed and athletic performance.

Greg Fanelli

Responsibilities
Greg Fanelli is responsible for the oversight of the Employee Benefit Review (EBR) process for prospective clients as well as the vetting of new vendors for the Employee Benefits Consulting Department. He develops recommendations for prospective clients to offer the most competitive benefits while maintaining financial feasibility. He also oversees Request for Proposals for prospective clients.

Background
Greg has two years of Financial Accounting experience supporting the Employee Benefits Consulting Department. He ensured probability for books of business and prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. He also has two years of experience in Account Management, where he assisted in managing books of business, implementing new products, conducting marketing for various plans, and negotiating renewals.

Fawna R. Shultie

Responsibilities
Fawna Shultie is responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical risk management solutions for the business needs of commercial clients in an ever-changing environment. Fawna focuses on program design and marketing, insurance placement, contract review, and providing direction and leadership to the account service team. Client responsibilities include coordination of the service team on day-to-day matters, negotiation and implementation of Property, Casualty and ancillary liability programs. In addition, Fawna is a member of the Alternative Risk Practice Group and Public Entity Practice Group.

Background
Fawna began her career within the insurance industry in 1998 working for a multi-faceted carrier before joining Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2008. She has experience in managing a wide array of public and private clients from educational institutions to manufacturers.
